FACULTY ADVISING

Academic mentoring is an integral part of teaching and the close interaction between students and professors ensures students’ sound academic development. All incoming students are assigned a faculty advisor who provides guidance during the first semesters of study and until students choose their major in their sophomore year. The advisor helps students select a course of study that matches their interests and goals. Advisors can also direct students to the relevant University offices that offer guidance concerning scholarships, study abroad, and counseling services.
